Developer Joseph Paolino declared his plans to turn a portion of the health center into 160 units of housing Monday. The housing complex would provide shelter for up to 300 residents.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. City property tax records indicate the property was valued at $49 million, according to the article.
Mr. Paolino purchased the property from Providence, R.I.-based Charter Care Health Partners.
