Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States to build medical office in Virginia

Rockville, Md.-based Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States will open a 40,000-square-foot medical office in Alexandria, Va., in the first quarter of 2019.

The Alexandria Kaiser Permanente Medical Office is the company’s first office in Alexandria. It will offer primary care, imaging, laboratory, pharmacy services, optometry and optical sales.

The financial details of the medical office were not disclosed. 

“This new medical facility is an important investment in our growth and a milestone along our path as the Mid-Atlantic States’ leading provider of care and coverage and the model for how health should be delivered across the nation,” Kim Horn, president of Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States, said in a company release.
