1. HCA plans to build 3 freestanding ERs, 4 urgent care clinics in Florida
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare plans to invest $32 million into three freestanding emergency rooms and four urgent care clinics in central Florida.
2. MIHS to build $70M health center in Arizona after board approval
Phoenix-based Maricopa Integrated Health System will build a $70 million multi-specialty health center in Peoria, Ariz. after the Maricopa County Special Health Care District Board of Directors unanimously approved the proposal.
3. Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital opens infant cardiac unit
New York City-based NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital opened its 17-bed infant cardiac unit Sept. 27.
4. $270M Oishei Children's Hospital to open in November
Buffalo, N.Y.-based Kaleida Health will open Oishei Children's Hospital, its $270 million women's and children's hospital in Buffalo, in November.
5. CHS' Lutheran Health Network to build replacement hospital in 2018
Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network is planning to build a new medical campus to replace St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne.
6. NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn opens epilepsy monitoring unit
New York City-based NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn recently opened its new epilepsy monitoring unit to complement its newly renovated neurology suite.
7. UPMC abandons plan for $211.2M hospital in South Fayette
Pittsburgh-based UPMC has withdrawn its plan to build a 90-bed, $211.2 million hospital in South Fayette, Pa.

9. Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center to begin $8.4M renovation
