Here are the organizations that announced pilots of innovation programs or expansions to existing programs since September, as reported by Becker’s Hospital Review.
1. Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica is integrating a new digital musculoskeletal rehabilitation program within its care offerings so that musculoskeletal patients can have access to virtual and in-person physical therapy.
2. Houston Methodist and Amazon Web Services have been collaborating on a pilot to bring voice assistants into hospital settings. The pilot focuses on integrating voice technology in two areas: the operating room and exam room.
3. Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic expanded its virtual hospital-at-home program to patients at its Phoenix and Scottsdale, Ariz., hospitals.
4. The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston launched a genomic dataset program with Helix, a direct-to-consumer genomics company, in a partnership that has been dubbed the first of its kind.
5. Orange, Calif.-based UCI Health partnered with at-home care provider DispatchHealth to launch a hospital-at-home program.
