David Reich, MD. President and COO of The Mount Sinai Hospital and President of Mount Sinai Queens (New York City). Dr. Reich became president and COO of The Mount Sinai Hospital and president of Mount Sinai Queens, both of which are part of the Mount Sinai Health System, in 2013. Dr. Reich, who also serves as the Horace W. Goldsmith Professor of Anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, was chair of the department of anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital from July 2004 to March 2014. Dr. Reich began his career at the health system with a residency in anesthesia in 1984, followed by a fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesia. He has published more than 200 peer-reviewed articles, invited articles, editorials and book chapters. Dr. Reich is also an editor of several texts, including Cardiac Anesthesia, Monitoring in Anesthesia and Perioperative Care and Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
