13 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Hospital will not renew current CEO Tomi Ryba's contract.

2. Aspen (Colo.) Valley Hospital named Dave Ressler its new CEO.

3. Nanticoke, Pa.-based Commonwealth Health named Justin Davis CEO of both Regional Hospital of Scranton (Pa.) and Moses Taylor Hospital, also in Scranton, effective Sept. 19.

4. Stephen L. McKernan, DO, CEO of Lone Star Family Health Center in Conroe, Texas, is leaving his position.

5. Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health appointed Julie McCormack interim CEO of Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan.

6. Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique, Mich., named Robert Crumb CEO.

7. Mt. Vernon-based SSM Health of Southern Illinois President and CEO Philip Gustafson announced his retirement, effective Feb. 3, 2017.

8. Coquille (Ore.) Valley Hospital's CEO Karen Lautermilch resigned recently, leaving the current hospital CFO, Jim Basch, to take over as acting CEO.

9. Ron Bierman, CEO of Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio, left his post.

10. Cardon Children's Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz., named Justin Bradshaw CEO.

11. Franklin Hospital in Benton, Ill., appointed current CFO Jim Johnson as the hospital's new CEO, effective immediately.

12. Atlanta-based Shepherd Center President and CEO Gary Ulicny, PhD, is retiring, effective March 31, 2017.

13. The Memorial Hospital at Craig (Colo.) named Andrew J. Daniels CEO.
