The Memorial Hospital at Craig (Colo.) named Andrew J. Daniels CEO.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Daniels most recently served as COO of Galion, Ohio-based Avita Health System.

2. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

3. According to a Craig Daily Press report, Mr. Daniels is the first CEO the hospital board has since 1987. In the intervening years a recruitment company, Quorum Health Resources, selected the hosptial’s CEO and CFO.
