The first phase of the 240,000-square-foot expansion built eight surgical suites as well as preoperation and recovery rooms, waiting areas and sterile processing in a patient tower. The tower also includes four shelled floors for future growth. Subsequent phases will upgrade existing surgical suites, expand outpatient preadmission, admission and radiology areas and add a new MRI.
