IPC The Hospitalist Company Acquires 2 More Practices

IPC The Hospitalist Company, based in North Hollywood, Calif., has announced it has acquired two hospital medicine practices — Hospital Medicine Associates of Florida, based in Ocala, Fla., and Transitions of Care, based in Chicago.

Additionally, IPC entered into an exclusive agreement to provide hospitalist services for The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center, in Albuquerque, N.M.
