Mercy Hospital (Coon Rapids, Minn.). Mercy Hospital opened in 1965, two years after the Anoka Community Hospital Association agreed to construct the facility near Coon Rapids. Mercy Hospital began operating as a single system with Fridley, Minn.-based Unity Hospital in 2017 through a “one hospital, two campuses” approach intertwining the facilities’ specialty services under parent company Minneapolis-based Allina Health. Truven Health Analytics named Mercy Hospital a Top 100 Hospital for 2017.
