Press Ganey has awarded 211 health systems for facilitating exceptional patient, physician and employee experiences in 2025.
The 2025 Press Ganey Human Experience Awards have six award categories: member experience, clinical quality, employee experience, physician experience, consumer experience and patient experience, according to a Jan. 7 news release.

Among the award categories, healthcare organizations are eligible to earn five distinctions:
- The Pinnacle of Excellence Award honors the three highest-performing organizations in each category.
- The Guardian of Excellence Award honors organizations that consistently reached the top fifth percentile within their respective category over a one-year period.
- The NDNQI Award for Outstanding Nursing Quality recognizes the best-performing hospital for nursing excellence within eight categories: academic, ambulatory, community, international, pediatric, psychiatric/behavioral, rehabilitation and teaching.
- The HX SSER Reduction Award honors organizations that reduced their system-level rate of serious safety events by 50% or more.
- The HX Zero Harm Award recognizes organizations who went one year without a serious safety event.
