The University of Alabama at Birmingham has appointed Mahmud Mossa-Basha, MD, as department of radiology chair.
Dr. Mossa-Basha will step into the role Nov. 1, according to a July 29 news release from the university.
He currently serves as vice chair of clinical research and transformation and as professor of radiology, neurology and neuroscience at Seattle-based University of Washington Medicine.
