Kalorama Information issued a report, “Medical Imaging Markets: X-Ray, Digital X-Ray, CT and Other Radiography Systems,” that shows digital X-ray system revenues are the largest component of the $12 billion radiography market.

The report estimates digital X-ray will have the greatest growth, compared to mammography, fluoroscopy, dental imaging, computed tomography and analog X-ray systems, due to its convenience and usability.
