The report is based on survey responses from 7,000 U.S. physicians in more than 29 specialties collected between Oct. 2 and Jan. 16.
The figure marks a 6% increase from last year’s report, which found 37% of radiologists were supplementing their income with outside work.
Of the radiologists supplementing their income, 7% said they were taking on work outside of the medical field, according to the 2024 report.
