Illinois Hospital Association Names New President

Maryjane Wurth has been named as the new president of the Illinois Hospital Association and will replace Ken Robbins, who will be retiring later this year, according to a report in the Chicago Tribune.

Ms. Wurth is the COO of the Healthcare Association of New York State and has handled “strategic direction and integrated management of a wide range of organizational operations,” according a statement by the IHA in the report.

Ms. Wurth was chosen after a search to replace Mr. Robbins, beating several Illinois hospital executives who had applied, according to the report.
