HCA hospitals make 7 leadership changes

HCA Healthcare, a for-profit hospital operator based in Nashville, Tenn., has made leadership changes at several of its hospitals in recent months.

Here are seven moves at HCA hospitals since Oct. 26:

1. Michael Barbera, MSN, RN, was named COO of HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital in Port St. Lucie.

2. Robyn Miller, MSN, RN, was named chief nursing officer of Belton (Mo.) Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Midwest Health.

3. Lance Jones was named CEO of HCA’s Chippenham and Johnston–Willis hospitals, both in Richmond, Va.

4. Luis Fernandez, DO, was named chief medical officer of HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami.

5. Richard Read was named CFO of the East Florida division of HCA.

6. Angelle Rhemann, DNP, APRN, was named chief nursing officer of HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball (Texas).

7. Holly Elliott was reappointed vice president of women’s and children’s services for HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division in Houston.
