Washington hospital CEO steps down

Darryl Wolfe has stepped down as CEO of Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, Wash.

Mr. Wolfe, who has been with the hospital for 19 years, cited personal reasons for his resignation, according to a July 31 news release from Olympic Medical Center. 

He has served as CEO since 2020 and previously held roles including COO, CFO, director of administration and treasurer, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“This is a difficult decision, but for personal reasons it is a necessary one,” Mr. Wolfe told employees. “I cannot overstate the gratitude I feel for the experiences I have had … for the past 19 years here at Olympic Medical Center.”

Olympic Medical Center operates a 67-bed acute care hospital and several clinics.
