USMD Arlington taps 3 leaders following CEO retirement

USMD Hospital at Arlington in Texas has appointed three new leaders following the retirement of its CEO.

Kathy Early, MSN, retired after serving as CEO and chief nursing officer, according to a Nov. 2 Facebook post from the hospital. USMD Arlington appointed Joe Minissale as interim CEO, and promoted Jaime Bentley, BSN, RN, to chief nursing officer and Lydia Ameka to COO, according to a Nov. 4 Facebook post.

Ms. Bentley previously served as vice president of patient services and has been with the hospital for two years, according to a hospital news release. Ms. Ameka most recently held the role of vice president of operations and rejoined the hospital in 2025 after a previous 15-year tenure from 2007 to 2022.

USMD Hospital at Arlington is a physician-led acute care hospital. It is a joint venture with Arlington-based Texas Health Resources.
