Three Rivers (Mich.) Health appointed David A. Shannon permanent CEO.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Shannon became interim CEO of the organization in January.

2. As interim CEO, he oversaw the onboarding of five new physicians and implementation of new technology.

3. Most recently, Mr. Shannon served as CEO of Jersey Shore (Pa.) Hospital.

4. He holds a master of science degree in business from Husson University in Bangor, Maine.
