St. Louis Children’s at CoxHealth has named Sarah Becker vice president and administrator of its pediatric care joint venture, effective Dec. 1.

The venture between Springfield, Mo.-based CoxHealth and St. Louis Children’s Hospital — with expertise of pediatric specialists from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis — aims to expand access to pediatric specialty care in southwest Missouri, according to a Nov. 5 joint news release shared with Becker’s.

Ms. Becker brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience and currently serves as director of therapy and audiology services at St. Louis Children’s. Over the past nine years, she led the expansion of St. Louis Children’s therapy services, opening four new sites and launching the region’s only pediatric audiology mobile unit.

She will provide strategic and operational direction as the venture prepares to develop a pediatric hospital within CoxHealth. In 2026, construction is expected to begin on a comprehensive outpatient center offering specialty clinics, imaging, ambulatory surgery, and therapy services.
