South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y., appointed Stacey A. Conklin senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

1. Ms. Conklin most recently served as vice president of patient care services and CNO at the Mount Sinai Health System’s New York Eye & Ear Infirmary in New York City.

2. She also has experience serving as director of patient care services at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City and site CIO at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y.

3. She is board-certified in nursing informatics and as a nurse executive by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

4. Ms. Conklin succeeds Susan Penque, PhD, who is leaving the role after seven years.
