South Baldwin Regional Medical Center CEO departs: 4 things to know

Foley, Ala.-based South Baldwin Regional Medical Center CEO Keith Newton is leaving for a new job opportunity, according to a GulfCoastNewsToday.com report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Newton will take on a new role at CHSPSC, where he will work with a group of hospitals affiliated with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems.

2. He came to South Baldwin Regional in 2010 as CFO.

3. He assumed the CEO role in 2012.

4. Keith Granger, regional president and market CEO for CHS’ Alabama region, will work with the hospital’s leadership until a CEO replacement is identified.
