Here are four notes:
1. Earlier this month, Dr. Caligiuri resigned as CEO of Columbus-based James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
2. He also left his role as director of OSU’s Comprehensive Cancer Center in November.
3. Dr. Caligiuri is president of the American Association for Cancer Research, and his research work focuses on human natural killer cells and their modulation for treatment of leukemia, myeloma and glioblastoma.
4. He will assume his new roles in February 2018.
