Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center taps Tim Menton as interim CEO: 4 things to know

Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, Calif., a Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare facility, appointed Tim Menton interim CEO, according to a report by The Tribune.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Menton most recently served as interim CEO of Piedmont Regional Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C., also a Tenet hospital.

2. He previously served as leader of a number of healthcare facilities, including Lakewood (Calif.) Regional Medical Center.

3. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

4. Mr. Menton is replacing Joe DeSchryver, who left his post to serve as CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, Calif.
