Dr. Peters has worked at the health system since July 2018, when he joined as medical director of child and adolescent services and chief medical information officer. He previously was inpatient medical director and assistant CMIO for Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Peters is double board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He also also is the consulting editor for Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinics of North America.
He succeeds Robert Roca, MD, who retired in April.
