Here are three points:
1. In his new role, Dr. Valin will oversee the operations and strategic growth of SCL Health’s 210 physician clinics and close to 600 medical providers.
2. He most recently served as regional medical officer of Greeley, Colo.-based Banner Health’s western division. He also served as chief medical officer of Banner Medical Group.
3. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
