The two hospitals plan to create CharterCare Health Partners following approval by the state’s Attorney General.

The two institutions plan to increase efficiencies through the creation of a larger, single healthcare organization. The merger was announced in February, and once completed, CharterCare will employ 3,200 people and have 579 licensed beds.
