Ms. Chitwood took over the role in January, according to a news release shared with Becker’s March 27. She supports Ochsner Medical Center-North Shore and Slidell Memorial Hospital, both based in Slidell, La. The two hospitals work in an integrated environment following a 2016 joint operating agreement.
Ms. Chitwood has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare operations. Prior to joining Ochsner Health, she served as senior vice president and chief administrative officer for Rolla, Mo.-based Phelps Health.
