New York health system names CFO

Binghamton, N.Y.-based UHS health system has named Rick Borschuk senior vice president and CFO.

Mr. Borschuk is an experienced healthcare finance executive, most recently serving as interim CFO of UHS since last year.

He previously was executive vice president of finance and business development with the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Md., and CFO of West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park, Ill.

He also was interim CFO of New York City-based St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers, interim CFO of Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and interim CFO of CHI Franciscan Medical Group. He is a certified public accountant.
