Chris Powell has been named senior vice president and COO of Joplin, Mo.-based Freeman Health System.
Mr. Powell brings three decades of healthcare industry experience to the role, according to a Nov. 6 health system news release. He will oversee day-to-day operations at Freeman, including hospital departments, quality performance and patient satisfaction.
He most recently served as COO of Greenville, S.C.-based Prisma Health, a role he held since late 2021.
