Joplin, Mo.-based Freeman Health System named Kristan Eaton as senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
Ms. Eaton brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in healthcare human resources, according to a Sept. 22 Freeman news release. She most recently served as executive director of human resources for Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.
Her prior HR leadership roles include positions at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa, Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Iowa, MercyOne Central Iowa in Des Moines, and Advocate Aurora Health in Burlington, Wis.
Freeman Health System recently opened its Freeman Fort Scott (Kan.) Hospital.
