Kalamazoo, Mich.-based Bronson Healthcare has named three executives to new leadership roles to drive the system’s strategic growth.
Michele Szczypka was named vice president and chief marketing officer, according to a Dec. 2 health system news release. She has more than 25 years of healthcare marketing experience and will oversee systemwide marketing, communications, reputation and brand strategy. Ms. Szczypka previously held marketing roles at St. Louis-based SSM Health and Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health.
Darrell Keeling, PhD, was appointed chief technology officer and vice president of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations. Dr. Keeling brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology leadership, most recently serving as chief information security officer at Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health, according to his LinkedIn profile. He will lead Bronson’s technology strategy and innovation initiatives.
Michael Hamaker joined Bronson as vice president of post-acute care services. He brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across nonprofit health systems, academic medical centers and for-profit organizations. In this role, he will provide strategic direction for Bronson’s continuum of care, focusing on access and transitions between care settings.
Bronson Healthcare — a 747-bed system — made four other leadership appointments in July, including its chief quality officer.
