Traverse City, Mich.-based Munson Healthcare is implementing a new leadership structure amid the planned retirement of a hospital leader.

Kelly Tomaszewski will retire as president of Manistee (Mich.) Hospital and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort, Mich., effective Jan. 2, according to an Oct. 23 health system news release.

Her departure aligns with Munson Healthcare’s regional care transformation plan, which introduces a new regional leadership model aimed at enhancing collaboration, streamlining operations and supporting long-term sustainability across the South region hospitals.

Peter Marinoff will remain president and CEO of the South region. Brian McComb, DO, continues as the region’s chief medical officer.

Kristi Johnson was appointed chief nursing officer for Cadillac, Manistee and Paul Oliver Memorial hospitals. Cristen Brandsma was named COO for the same facilities.
