Methodist Hospitals selects 2 new assistant VPs: 4 points

Gary, Ind.-based Methodist Hospitals appointed Sheila Cook, BSN, MSN, and Trischa Turner, BSN, MSN, assistant vice presidents.

1. Ms. Cook has worked at Methodist Hospitals for 28 years.

2. Ms. Cook’s previous roles include interim chief nursing officer.

3. Ms. Turner has 25-plus years of healthcare experience.

4. Ms. Turner formerly served as director of perioperative and surgical services at Methodist Hospitals.

Both assistant VP roles are newly created. Ms. Cook and Ms. Turner will report to Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer Jim Renneker, according to a report by The Chicago Crusader.
