Mercy names JoAnne Levy inaugural VP for system operations: 4 points

JoAnne Levy has filled the newly established role of vice president for system operations for St. Louis-based Mercy, according to a St. Louis Business Journal report.

1. Ms. Levy most recently served as vice president of supply chain operations at Resource Optimization & Innovation.

2. Resource Optimization & Innovation provides supply chain management, manufacturing and distribution services. Mercy has a majority ownership in the company.

3. She has also previously served as vice president of global logistics for the pharmaceutical and imaging sector at Covidien.

4. As VP for system operations, Ms. Levy will work with Mercy’s Financial Improvement Group. She will focus on driving revenue initiatives.
