CommonSpirit taps market, hospital chief medical officer

Houston-based St. Luke’s Health named Augusto “Gus” Sepulveda, MD, chief medical officer of its Houston market and Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Dr. Sepulveda, an internal medicine physician and clinical informatics specialist, will step into his new role March 2. 

He joins from HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood, where he has served as CMO since May, according to a Feb. 23 system news release.

St. Luke’s Health is a member of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health.
