Marsha D. Rappley, MD. Vice President of Virginia Commonwealth University Health ScienceHealth Science and CEO of VCU Health System (Richmond). Dr. Rappley was appointed vice president for health sciences and CEO of the VCU Health System on Aug. 15. She is a tenured professor of pediatrics and human development and, prior to her current role, held a number of administrative positions at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing. Dr. Rappley is chair of the Association of American Medical Colleges and has previously served on the board of directors for the Association for Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs and the American Board of Pediatrics and as chair of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s pediatric advisory committee.
