1. Currently, Dr. Heaton is senior vice president and CMO for LCMC Health’s Children’s Hospital, a 247-bed facility in New Orleans.
2. He previously served in other roles at Children’s Hospital including director of anesthesiology and associate medical director.
3. Dr. Heaton received his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology, according to LCMC Health. He also earned a Master of Medical Management degree from Pittsburgh-based Carnegie Mellon University.
