1. Ms. Abboud, who will assume her new role Oct. 1, has served as executive vice president and COO of Methodist and Methodist Women’s since 2016.
2. She was previously vice president of ancillary and professional services at both hospitals.
3. She began working at Methodist in 1996, when she joined as a critical care nurse.
4. In 2017, she was the recipient of the American College of Healthcare Executives’ Senior-Level Healthcare Executive Award.
5. In 2019, Ms. Abboud will begin serving as District One Chairman of the Nebraska Hospital Association.
6. She holds an MBA and a master’s degree in healthcare management from Regis University in Denver.
