Joanne Conroy, MD. President and CEO of Dartmouth-Hitchcock (Lebanon, N.H.). Dr. Conroy became the second president and CEO of Dartmouth-Hitchcock in August. She was previously CEO of Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a 343-bed hospital. Dr. Conroy has a diverse background of healthcare leadership experience, including more than five years as chief healthcare officer for the Association of American Medical Colleges, where she helped establish national health priorities and develop best practices for medical education and care delivery. Dr. Conroy, an anesthesiologist and pain physician by training, spent four years as CMO and three years as executive vice president of Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System, a three-hospital health system.
