Parkview Health, a 15-hospital health system based in Fort Wayne, Ind., has appointed two experienced leaders to roles overseeing Parkview Regional Medical Center and its affiliate locations in Allen County.
In a news release shared with Becker’s, the health system said Jerry Grannan was appointed president, and Mike Yurkanin, MD, will serve as chief physician executive, forming a dyad model.
Mr. Grannan previously served as COO of Parkview Physicians Group.
Dr. Yurkanin is also a veteran leader of Parkview Health. He joined the health system in 2015 as associate chief medical officer for PRMC and affiliates and was appointed CMO in 2021, according to the release. He assumed an expanded role two years later to include oversight of all system hospitals.
Parkview Health officials said John Bowen, former president of PRMC and affiliates, recently transitioned to a new leadership role within the system.
