HCA appoints clinical AI leader

Yauheni Solad, MD, has been named system vice president of clinical artificial intelligence at HCA Healthcare, based in Nashville, Tenn.

The role is part of the health system’s digital transformation and innovation team, according to a June 25 LinkedIn post from Dr. Solad. In this position, Dr. Solad will lead efforts to integrate AI and scale patient-centered solutions across HCA Healthcare’s hospitals and 2,000 care sites in 21 states and the United Kingdom.

Previously, Dr. Solad was a research affiliate at Yale University.
