Ms. Fulks is the fourth member of the executive management team to resign within the last month. CEO Brian Bentley, CFO Craig Stewart and CIO David Furnas have all resigned.

The four executives came under fire in the last few months for refusing to take a pay cut in the wake of the hospital’s recent financial crisis. The crisis was a result of cutbacks to the funds that the hospital received from the state’s Sole Community Provider Fund. The crisis also led to the decision to downgrade 70 full-time positions to part-time roles in May. The senior leaders did not offer to take pay cuts but volunteered to take one day off a month, according to the report.
