Formativ Health names chief technology officer: 3 things to know

Formativ Health, a management services organization created by New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health and private equity firm Pamplona Capital Management, named David Harvey chief technology officer.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Harvey.

1. In his new role, Mr. Harvey will be in charge of various areas of the company, including technology strategy, product management and software development, according to a news release.

2. His prior positions include CEO and co-founder of MedicalMessaging.net, a company acquired by Watertown, Mass.-based athenahealth and vice president of product strategy for athenahealth.

3. Mr. Harvey also previously served as general manager for athenahealth’s Atlanta office.
