Erik Thorsen. CEO of Columbia Memorial Hospital (Astoria, Ore.). Mr. Thorsen became CEO of Columbia Memorial Hospital in 2010 after serving as COO and CFO of the hospital. He is responsible for Columbia Memorial’s critical access hospital and level 4 trauma center in addition to the CMH Health & Wellness Pavilion, which also includes the hospital’s Women’s Center. During his tenure, Mr. Thorsen oversaw efforts to achieve the Designated Planetree Hospital distinction.
