Elizabeth G. Nabel, MD. President of Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston). A cardiologist and biomedical researcher, Dr. Nabel has led Brigham and Women’s Hospital since 2010. In addition to leading the Harvard-affiliated hospital, Dr. Nabel is also a professor of medicine at HarvardMedicalSchool. This year, Dr. Nabel was named chief health and medical advisor to the National Football League, where she will help shape the NFL’s medical, health and scientific efforts and look at areas where the league can improve player safety and treatment. Dr. Nabel earned her medical degree from WeillCornellMedicalCollege in New York and was trained at Brigham and Women’s.
