Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center selects interim CEO: 4 points

Poteau-based Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center named Bob Carter interim CEO, according to a Poteau Daily News report.

Here are four points:

1. Mr. Carter previously served as COO of the 25-bed critical access hospital.

2. He has worked at the hospital for 24-plus years.

3. He succeeds Shaun Keef, who in addition to serving as CFO took on the CEO role in April 2017, when hospital’s governing board suspended former CEO Michael Carter.

4. Mr. Keef will remain the hospital’s CFO.
