Houston-based St. Luke’s Health, a 16-hospital member of CommonSpirit Health, appointed two new leaders on March 19, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
Steven Daniel was appointed president of St. Luke’s Health-Patients Medical Center in Pasadena, Texas, effective March 24, the release states.
Mr. Daniel comes to the role after holding various positions at Christus Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi, Texas, including hospital president and CEO, vice president of performance improvement and ancillary services, and senior vice president of community hospitals.
Kyle Sims has started a new role as market vice president of ambulatory and post-acute services.
In this role, she is responsible for ambulatory strategy across the Houston, Brazos Valley, and East Texas markets, according to the release.
Steven Foster was Patients Medical Center president before becoming president and CEO of Mercy General Hospital, a CommonSpirit facility in Sacramento, Calif.
CommonSpirit is based in Chicago.
