CHC makes changes to corporate staff: 8 things to know

Plano, Texas-based Community Hospital Corp., has promoted and added corporate staff.

Here are eight things to know about the staff changes.

Eva Deky has joined CHC as staff accountant of finance.

1. Most recently, Ms. Deky was a contract senior staff accountant for Plano-based Ambridge Hospitality.

2. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of North Texas in Denton, and Masters in Accounting from Texas A&M – Commerce (Texas).

Shelle Diehm has been promoted from field interim CFO to vice president of hospital finance for CHC. 

3. Ms. Diehm has been with CHC since January 2008.

4. She works with CHC hospitals “to plan, organize, and implement financial strategies designed to maximize hospital financial performance,” according to CHC. She also serves as a consultant to hospital financial leaders.

Nancy Lloyd has been promoted from director to vice president of human resources for post-acute services for CHC. 

5. Ms. Lloyd provides human resource expertise to the CHC ContinueCARE division, and human resource leadership and operational assistance for CHC’s long term acute care hospitals.

Michael Smith has been promoted from network administrator to senior network administrator of information technology for CHC. 

6. Mr. Smith has been at CHC since 2011.

7. He continues to support CHC network operations and engineering, and provide technical assistance for telecom funding programs including CHC’s Universal Services Administration Company consortium.

Lisa Vang has been promoted from manager to director of payroll for CHC. 

8. In her role, she oversees all payroll and payroll employment tax functions for CHC and its affiliated hospitals. She also helps post-acute services with the payroll implementation for CHC’s long term acute care hospitals and any post-acute care facility managed by CHC.
