9 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. UT Health Athens (Texas) hospital selected C. Scott Campbell to serve as CEO.

2. Decatur (Ill.) Memorial Hospital has tapped Drew Early to serve as president and CEO.

3. Mercy Medical Center President and CEO Paul Hiltz is leaving to lead NCH Healthcare System in Naples, Fla., beginning Sept. 3.

4. Patrick Magoon, president and CEO of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, is retiring, ending a 22-year tenure.

5. Overland Park, Kan.-based HCA Midwest Health has appointed Ashley McClellan CEO of Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

6. Russ Myers, president and CEO of Virginia Mason Memorial in Yakima, Wash., plans to retire, effective in early 2020.

7. Advocate Aurora Health has moved to a single CEO model and named Jim Skogsbergh sole president and CEO of the 28-hospital system, effective immediately.

8. Homestead (Fla.) Hospital named Kenneth Spell CEO.

9. Parker Templeton, president and CEO of Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, La., is resigning, effective Oct. 25.
